This wine is offered En Primeur, with an est. delivery in late 2024/early 2025.

2022 was Guillaume’s second year farming organically, and a little less challenging than 2021. He harvested on 1st September keen to ensure his wines had moderate acidity and balanced alcohol, (pH is 3.5 and ABVs generally around 12.5%) giving the supple, digestible style he advocates.

What the critics say:

88-91/100Allen Meadows, Burghound

"A slightly more complex nose freely reveals its notes of dark cherry, earth and a suggestion of the sauvage. I very much like the seductive texture of the generous medium weight flavors that possess both good richness and punch, all wrapped in a balanced finish that displays only a trace of rusticity."

88-90/100Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

"23 barrels this year, the second vintage. Glowing fresh purple. The bouquet shows an elegance of red berry fruit, not too demonstrative. A little riper but also finer than the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, lower acidity with a pleasing long finish. The little note of toasty oak at the finish will play out at the racking. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted: October 2023."
