Dugat-Py’s 2018 Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes is a wine that struts rather than strolls – generous, layered and heady with spiced dark fruit, rose petals, and a touch of incense. The old vines bring serious concentration, while the 2018 vintage adds warmth and opulence. The palate is plush yet controlled, the tannins fine-grained, and there’s that tell-tale Vosne exoticism humming in the background – think silk and spice in equal measure.

Dugat-Py are modern legends in Gevrey-Chambertin, producing some of the most powerful, age-worthy wines in Burgundy. A small family estate with a fierce reputation, they work with very old vines and farm organically.
