The 2016 Côte de Léchet from Bernard Defaix is a graceful yet powerful Chablis driven by tension, mineral clarity, and Kimmeridgian soil character. The Côte de Léchet terroir is particularly stony and sunny, giving wines with great structure and mineral depth, and one of the Chablisian vineyards with the most exceptional ageing potential.

Enjoy with fish or poultry, with white butter or cream sauces.

Founded by Bernard Defaix in 1959 with just 2 hectares, the estate is now run by his two sons, Sylvain (in charge of cellar and vinification) and Didier (in charge of the vineyard), with Hélène (Didier’s wife) handling the business side.
