Join us at Noizé for a dinner celebrating one of Bordeaux’s truly great modern vintages, now ten years on.

On release, 2016 was recognised as a classic in the making. A decade later, the wines are doing exactly what the best Bordeaux should: Tannins are softening, aromatics are opening up, complexity is developing, but the balance and structure that define the vintage remain firmly in place. This is an ideal moment to taste these wines, in the early stages of their long drinking windows.

The line-up spans both Left and Right Banks, from the precision and power of Pauillac and Saint Julien, to the perfume of Margaux, across to the generosity of Saint Emilion and plushness of Pomerol, finishing with a benchmark Sauternes. These are wines built to age, but now beginning to show real nuance and detail.

The evening begins with Pol Couronne Brut Rosé, followed by a multi-course menu at Noize, a favourite venue and one of Fitzrovia's finest restaurants.
This is a rare chance to taste the 2016 vintage across top estates, side by side, at exactly the point where it starts to justify the excitement it generated on release.
