The Brunel family has been crafting wines in the Southern Rhône Valley since 1670, but their story in Châteauneuf-du-Pape began in the mid-20th century. Over the years, four generations have called Château de la Gardine home, expanding the estate and building its renowned reputation.
The 2021 vintage was slightly cooler than recent years, resulting in wines with fresh acidity, beautiful aromatics, and excellent balance. Medium to full-bodied, with vibrant red and dark fruit flavours, the 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is a great choice for hearty dishes and aged cheeses.
