We are pleased to offer a limited number of parcels of the newly-released top cuvées of 2023 Domaine Armand Rousseau - each parcel including the domaine’s flagship Chambertin Grand Cru with a £100 discount.

Due to the heavily reduced yields in 2024, the domaine has chosen to hold back release of the 2023 Chambertin-Clos-de-Beze and Charmes Chambertin until next year so this will make their top wine especially sought after this year.

Right at the top tier of Burgundy, Domaine Armand Rousseau is in a league of its own. Now run by Eric Rousseau, grandson of the founder, alongside his daughter Cyrielle, the domaine continues to raise the bar. The winemaking is firmly traditional—low yields, old vines, and a focus on finesse. The wines are almost weightless in youth but gain remarkable depth and complexity with age.

Thanks to smart vineyard acquisitions over the years—especially under Eric’s father Charles, who took over in 1959—the domaine now owns 8.5 hectares of Grand Cru vineyards, including legendary names like Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Ruchottes, and Clos de la Roche. They also own a considerable plot of Clos Saint Jacques which is a Grand Cru in all but name. The Chambertin, with its unmistakable label, is not just the flagship here but one of the most iconic wines in all of Burgundy—tasting it is a dream for collectors worldwide.
