Château Saint Roch is a historic estate in Lirac, on the right bank of the Rhône, where the Brunel family, owners of the celebrated Château de la Gardine in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, have continued a long tradition of winemaking. Drawing on generations of experience, the family has invested in both the vineyards and cellar while remaining committed to expressing the distinctive character of Lirac. Today, the estate is managed with the same philosophy as Château de la Gardine, combining sustainable vineyard practices, careful fruit selection and a measured approach to oak to produce wines of balance and authenticity.

The vineyards are planted predominantly with Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre for the reds, alongside Rhône white varieties including Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette and Viognier. The varied soils of rolled pebbles, clay and limestone provide both richness and freshness, while fermentation and ageing are tailored to each cuvée to preserve fruit purity and showcase the appellation's character. The result is a range of generous yet refined wines that offer all the warmth of the southern Rhône, underpinned by freshness, structure and impressive ageing potential.
