Collection: Spanish & Portuguese wines

There has been something of a renaissance in Spanish wine in the last few decades. Growing interest from wine collectors in regions such as Priorat, Ribera del Duero & Rioja have helped create a new wave of global icons. We’re immensely proud of the lovely growers we work with. In Priorat we’re huge fans of the incredible wines of Nin Ortiz and Terroir al Limit. The wines here – organic and biodynamic – remain true to the intensity of their volcanic origins, with a heady musk that might make you think of a great Barolo or even a Chambertin. Then there is Clos I Terasses. The flagship Clos Erasmus is one of wine’s great modern icons, though don’t forget their brilliant second wine Laurel!

Over in Rioja we’re big supporters of rising stars Remelluri, alongside old-school icons Vina Ardanza & Tondonia from La Rioja Alta. Whether made from Tempranillo, Garnacha or even Mencia, these Spanish wines are always benchmarks of excellent value in wine. And who could forget Sherry? Spanish wine really needs to be on everyone’s radar!

Meanwhile there is so much more to Portuguese wine than just Port! Something of an undiscovered gem, it was only recently that wine lovers discovered the joy of Portuguese wine, and here you find some of the best value drinking wines in the world.
