Under the direction of Scott Becker and Benoit Touquette, Realm Cellars has secured its place among Napa’s modern icons—though quantities remain frustratingly scarce. Their two single-vineyard releases, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Beckstoffer To Kalon, continue to astonish critics, each earning 100 points from Lisa Perrotti-Brown. The Dr. Crane, in particular, has become a Napa legend, collecting seven perfect scores from The Wine Advocate over the past decade.

The new 2023 To Kalon, itself a 100-pointer, stands just behind the 2018 in brilliance and promises decades of evolution. Both wines are opulent in youth, bursting with layers of dark fruit, and built for long, thrilling cellaring. With volumes vanishingly small, collectors will need to act quickly to secure a case.
